Jan Wambeke has been a member of ISPE since 2015, so he was pleasantly surprised when his peers entrusted him with the new role earlier this month. He was chosen by a committee of 15 other pharmaceutical fellows, who represent Young Professional ISPE at various events and activities of ISPE and affiliates. The organization is an open community for young professionals in the pharmaceutical sector who want to exchange knowledge, expand their network and give their career a boost.
Operating as a Project Lead Consultant for one of our biggest clients, Jan has been steadily paving his career path at QbD in the last 3 years. It comes as no surprise that he gets this recognition from a broader spectrum as well. In his new role as VP, he looks forward to acquiring more knowledge and experience by keeping an eye on relevant developments in the pharmaceutical industry, meeting interesting people, and performing his work from a broader perspective.
Jan is not the only one to represent QbD at the organization, however. Thomas De Vliegere, a validation engineer, also just got a seat on the committee. Moreover, current president Lise Heynick, launched her career with us, before she joined Alcon, her project client at the time. We are rightfully proud to see our colleagues taking initiatives and joining industry communities. Bart Van Acker himself has been a member of the Board of Directors at the Belgian Affiliate ISPE since February 2015.
We wish Jan and all our team good luck with their exceptional endeavours! Go #teamQbD!
