The QbD New Year’s drink: literally the highlight of the year. This year, our pleasant and informal gathering took place on December 16th at a very special location. With a lot of snacks and refreshments, we were welcomed in the old castle Fort 8 in Hoboken, Belgium. As one of the oldest castles of the Brialmontgordel, the construction of Fort 8 started in 1859 and was finished in 1864. Since early 2001, one part of the castle is transformed into a stylish, unique location for parties, seminars and trainings.
Despite the traffic jam, around seventy QbD employees gathered in the authentic castle. Our own Bart Van Acker kicked of with a dynamic speech. He looked back on a successful year and some of our most special moments: of course with a lot of enthusiasm. There was also time for a glance at the future: what are our plans for 2016? After the speech, we moved to another part of the castle to enjoy the most delicious snacks. Fresh salad, soup, game, fish: all tastes were catered for. Thanks to the good company, lots of laughing and the tasty chocolate mousse, it was an unforgettable evening for everyone.
Of course, as QbD we have already planned our next party. We would love to welcome everyone at the Antwerp Christmas fair on Wednesday evening, December 23, 2015!
