On September 23, a QbD team took off to Barcelona to meet with the Spanish pharmaceutical industry and especially our Spanish partner QbD Pharmaceutical Services. Our goal? Discussing how to guarantee compliance and risk reduction throughout the product lifecycle.
Attendees were guided through the various lifecycle steps of the pharmaceutical industry – from design to validation and continuous improvement. The seminar started with a talk on SMART QbD, presented by Mrs Alicia Tébar. Up next was some information on our Technology Transfer methodology, presented by Mr Martijn Reniers. After these two presentations we had a coffee break and the attendees were able to enjoy their coffee with a personalize cup with their name on it – a nice little touch, don’t you think? We returned to the presentations with Mr Bart Van Acker on validation and a risk based approach. After this, Mr Albert Verschoor gave an inspiring talk on Quality Management Systems (QMS). Last but not least, Alicia and Bart joined forces to present their Academy Model, and attendees were able to ask questions about the model during the presentation.
After the seminar, a lunch was served, including delicious bites such as the typical Catalan dish Fideua. We received some very positive feedback from the audience during the walking lunch. They were enthusiastic about meeting a new consultancy company and were interested in some of our solutions and models.
Altogether, it was a very successful event. Now we will be able to introduce our QbD solutions onto the Spanish market with even more confidence!
