Facilities and services to life science companies
Pivot Park was created in 2012 on the initiative of Merck Sharp & Dohme, in close cooperation with five government partners. It is located on the former production site of Organon, the Dutch company that developed the first contraceptive pill back in 1981. In 2007, Organon was acquired by Schering-Plough. The merge with Merck & co in 2009 initiated a reorganization that resulted in a lot of free space and facilities on the Oss production site. Pivot Park exploited the opportunity to offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, facilities and services to life science companies.
Access to the life sciences community
One year ago, QbD opened its first Dutch office near BioScience Park in Leiden. “Pivot Park in Oss offers access to an innovative and entrepreneurial life sciences community”, says Bart Van Acker. “In the Netherlands, QbD wants to achieve a growth pattern similar to that in Belgium, with the client as our primary focus. Our office in Pivot Park will help us realize that ambition.”
